FAQs

It's a change. Not the end.

As women, most of us have had enough PMS and hormonal fluctuations for ten lifetimes. Menopause represents a change in life–not the end! As you approach menopause, estrogen levels begin to decline and you begin to notice changes in sexuality, sleep patterns, mental alertness, body temperature fluctuations, and other areas. Women who use Femmerol report that it significantly improves their hormonal balance and mitigates their symptoms. And when combined with healthy lifestyle changes, Femmerol can help make this time a positive, life-enhancing experience.

What is peri-menopause?

Peri-menopause refers to the years leading to menopause. Many women begin to experience symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, insomnia and low-level depression, even though their menstrual cycles continue. For other women, it is simply the continuation of PMS symptoms.

  • Peri-menopause can begin as early as 13 years before menopause
  • It can begin as early as your 30s or in your 40s
  • Length of your periods, intensity, and time between them may change
  • It can last briefly or for many years

What is menopause?

Menopause occurs officially when your ovaries stop functioning and your periods stop. Blood tests can measure the amount of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in your blood to help determine the onset of menopause.
